AI Video "Odyssey" for Skolkoovo School of Management

Skolkoovo School of Management presented the creative project Odyssey, combining classic legends with modern artificial intelligence technologies. The video's author, Timofey Stupin, shared details about the video creation process, which is part of a series for the educational institution.

The main idea of the project was to hide an episode of managerial training within a well-known legend and accurately transfer the school campus architecture into the visual narrative. The project work took place in winter, and the creator emphasizes that the concept was not influenced by trends related to Christopher Nolan's films.

Neural networks Nano Banana Pro and Kling 3.0 were used to generate video content. Some typography elements were created using GPT Image, as this model preserves the font and texture of the reference better than others. A significant portion of the frames was generated specifically for subsequent tracking and overlaying 3D text in Adobe After Effects.

A collage technique in AE was applied in the middle of the video, but all source materials were obtained using NB and Kling. Full video generation took one week, and another week was required for assembly and editing. The project budget amounted to approximately 4000 rubles, including work on a large number of cut scenes totaling 40 seconds of runtime.
