AI Griffin Passes Turing Test via Video Call

Tavus has introduced a new artificial intelligence model, Griffin, capable of passing the Turing Test in video communication mode. The system demonstrates a high degree of interactivity by simultaneously analyzing the visual and audio data of its interlocutor.

During the demonstration, the virtual avatar Vanessa successfully helped assemble a real Rubik's Cube, responding to the user's actions in real time. This confirms the neural network's ability not only to generate content but also to perceive the physical world through the camera.

The model showed initial results on the independent NVIDIA VideoFDB benchmark in two categories: generation and perception. Developers also announced a new class of models called Human Interaction Model (HIM), named after the film HER.
