AI grades MIPT students' homework with 89% accuracy
An artificial intelligence system developed by MIPT students and faculty ensures 89% accuracy in grading homework assignments. The project was presented at Yandex's Yac/e conference, which focuses on education.
Previously, the process of reviewing student work could take a week or more. Now, the instructor uploads the assignment, evaluation criteria, and reference solution, after which the neural network analyzes the materials within hours or a day.
Artificial intelligence generates comments for students, freeing up the teacher's time. The instructor is left only with controversial cases and handling appeals, allowing them to focus on individual work with students.
