Growth of AI-driven cyberattacks in Russia demands new defense methods
The number of cyberattacks using artificial intelligence in Russia increased fivefold in the third quarter compared to the previous period. This forces information security specialists to respond promptly to threats and revise their defense strategies.
The approach to cybersecurity has changed fundamentally: instead of analyzing incidents post factum, infosec specialists now use AI agents to build active protection in real time.
Leading global vendors such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, and Microsoft have already integrated AI agents into their solutions. In Russia, Positive Technologies is developing the MaxPatrol O2 system, which automates the analysis and investigation of cyber incidents.
