Ufa Schoolboy Becomes Drug Courier Due to Gambling Debts

An 11-year-old schoolboy from Ufa fell into a severe gambling addiction, leading to millions of rubles in debt. To cover his losses, the child resorted to extreme measures, becoming a drug courier.

Starting with spending his pocket money in casinos, the boy gradually moved on to selling his personal belongings. His family did not notice the problem until the debt exceeded one million rubles, which led the teenager to contemplate suicide.

A job as a drug courier became his only option, but after a few deliveries, he got scared and fled with goods worth half a million rubles. To avoid pursuit, he was forced to become homeless.

The young man is currently undergoing rehabilitation at a center for people with gambling addiction. Specialists note positive progress: the patient is recovering and starting a new life, overcoming the consequences of addiction and his criminal past.
